Tragic flash floods and mudslides have struck Sichuan Province in southwest China, resulting in the loss of two lives and leaving twelve individuals missing, local authorities reported on Saturday.
The devastating event occurred early Saturday morning in Ridi Village, located within the Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. Emergency rescue and disaster relief teams were quick to respond, initiating immediate relief efforts.
As of now, the injured have been transported to local hospitals for medical treatment, and over 300 residents have been safely relocated to secure areas. Rescue operations are ongoing as authorities continue their search for the missing persons, striving to ensure the safety and well-being of all affected individuals.
