A magnitude-6.0 earthquake struck the waters off Indonesia's Tanimbar Islands, registering at a depth of 153 kilometers, according to the country's meteorology, climatology and geophysics agency BMKG.
The BMKG has confirmed that there is no potential for a tsunami following the quake. However, residents and authorities are advised to stay alert for possible aftershocks in the coming days.
