China Initiates Level-IV Emergency Response as Heavy Rains Threaten Multiple Provinces

China's State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters has activated a Level-IV emergency response in three provinces—Guangdong, Hunan, and Jiangxi—due to ongoing intense rainstorms affecting the southern regions. An additional team has been deployed to Guangdong to bolster flood prevention operations. Furthermore, Level-IV emergency flood control measures remain in effect in Fujian, Guangxi, Zhejiang, and Guizhou.

To support local resettlement and relief efforts, an urgent shipment of 10,000 emergency kits has been sent to Fujian and Guangdong, providing critical assistance to families impacted by the severe flooding.
