Daytime temperatures on Friday are expected to reach between 35 to 36 degrees Celsius in areas including Xinjiang, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Hebei, Shandong, Henan, Anhui, Jiangsu, Hubei, Hunan, the Sichuan Basin, and Hainan, according to the center.
The extended heatwave highlights the ongoing challenges posed by extreme weather conditions, affecting daily life and various sectors across the impacted regions.
