At least 15 people have lost their lives following devastating floods and landslides in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. Heavy rainfalls since Friday triggered these natural disasters in Luwu regency, according to Abdul Muhari, the spokesperson for the National Disaster Management and Mitigation Agency.
More than 1,800 homes and mosques have been submerged in waters reaching up to three meters, causing widespread damage. Additionally, 103 houses have been destroyed by the relentless force of the floods, leaving the affected communities in dire need of assistance.
