Japan is set to begin the fifth release of nuclear-contaminated wastewater from the damaged Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant into the ocean starting the morning of April 19, as announced by Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) on Wednesday.
The discharge process is scheduled to continue until May 7, TEPCO reported.
