The Chinese mainland's National Meteorological Center has renewed a yellow alert for sandstorms across several northern regions. The alert is active from March 28 at 8 a.m. to March 29 at 8 a.m., with drifting sand and dust expected to affect parts of Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Hebei, Beijing, Tianjin, Shandong, Henan, Heilongjiang, Jilin, and Liaoning.
Inner Mongolia will particularly experience sandstorms during this period, signaling increased intensity in the region.
