In southwest China's Chongqing Municipality, Taigong Mountain has emerged as a top tourist destination each March, thanks to its expansive plum tree gardens. Locals have lovingly nurtured these plum trees for over three decades, creating a stunning spectacle that draws numerous visitors eager to admire the blossoms.
\"We come to Taigong Mountain every year to enjoy white plum blossoms. Flowers are everywhere, and we feel very comfortable,\" shared one enthusiastic tourist.
Meanwhile, in Wuxi City of east China's Jiangsu Province, the Yuantouzhu scenic area has become a haven for cherry blossom enthusiasts since mid-March. Recognized as one of the world's three premier sakura viewing resorts, the 850-square-kilometer area boasts more than 30,000 cherry trees. This cherry blossom season has seen over 8.2 million visitors, marking a 5.6% increase from the previous year and generating over 6 billion yuan (approximately $833 million) in tourism revenue—a 9.6% year-on-year rise.
Further east in Jiangxi Province, colorful rapeseed flowers have transformed the landscape, adding vibrant hues to the region. These rapeseed blooms are the result of a decade-long scientific research effort by Professor Fu Donghui and his team at Jiangxi Agricultural University in Nanchang City.
