Exciting news from the botanical world! Researchers from the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) have unveiled a new species belonging to the Rubiaceae family in southwestern Yunnan Province of the Chinese mainland.
This remarkable discovery was made during a recent expedition to a local nature reserve, where the team meticulously collected and examined various plant specimens. After extensive analysis and comparison with existing species, the team confirmed that they had identified a previously unknown Rubiaceae species.
