Seven giant panda cubs at the Qinling Giant Panda Research Center in Shaanxi Province embarked on a heartwarming mission to extend Lunar New Year greetings to people on Tuesday.
The Cubs, born in 2023, consist of five males and two females. Notably, three pairs are twins, with two of these pairs born on the same day. This remarkable event set a historical record for the research center, marking the birth of four giant pandas on a single day.
Weighing between 9 to 12 kilograms, the cubs showcase a range of developmental stages. Some pups require gentle encouragement from nursery staff while nursing, whereas others have already mastered holding bottles independently. Their personalities are equally diverse; some are eager explorers, while others exhibit a more reserved demeanor.
Breeders at the research center shared, \"The Qinling giant panda cubs are extending their Lunar New Year blessings to everyone, wishing everyone happiness and good fortune in the Lunar New Year. Happy Chinese New Year and good luck in the Year of the Dragon.\" This gesture not only celebrates the new year but also highlights the thriving panda population at the facility.
