Beijing, the Chinese mainland From October 13 to 14, the Global Leaders' Meeting on Women will bring together top decision-makers in Beijing. Ahead of the event, CGTN anchor Wang Mangmang sat down with Huang Xiaowei, vice-president and first member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation and vice chairperson of the National Working Committee on Children and Women of the State Council.

In their conversation, Huang reflected on the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, launched nearly three decades ago, and its role in accelerating gender equality worldwide.
