Heavy rainfall this week triggered mountain torrents in Yuzhong County, in Gansu Province in the northwest of the Chinese mainland.
Rescue operations and disaster relief measures are still underway following the torrents.
Yuzhong County No. 3 Middle School has been transformed into the largest temporary shelter, hosting over 185 displaced residents. It can accommodate up to 300 people and provides meal services for more than 400.
A CGTN reporter on the ground brings the latest updates as local authorities coordinate shelter management and ongoing rescue efforts.
As relief continues, the spirit of solidarity shines through, with residents coming together to support recovery.
