Jeju Air Flight to South Korea Crashes, Leaving 179 Dead

A Jeju Air plane carrying 181 passengers from Thailand to South Korea tragically crashed upon arrival on December 29. The aircraft smashed into a barrier and burst into flames, resulting in the deaths of 179 individuals, leaving only two survivors.

The South Korean government has declared a seven-day national mourning period, lasting until January 4, following an emergency meeting to address the devastating incident.
