This summer, the Shanghai Museum in East China is set to host \"On Top of the Pyramid: The Civilization of Ancient Egypt,\" an exhibition that promises to transport visitors back in time. As the largest exhibition of its kind held outside Egypt in the past two decades, it showcases 492 sets of artifacts representing various periods of ancient Egyptian civilization. These priceless pieces, sourced from seven renowned Egyptian museums, include some of the latest archaeological discoveries. Impressively, over 95% of these artifacts will be making their debut in Asia.
Furthermore, this exhibition marks a first: it's the inaugural display of ancient Egyptian art curated by Chinese scholars and researchers. For those unable to visit in person, a live stream will be available, offering a virtual journey into the mysteries of ancient Egypt.
