Day 63: Intense Clashes Erupt in Gaza’s Khan Younis Amid Aid Blockade

Israeli troops and Hamas fighters engaged in face-to-face battles on Wednesday for control of Khan Younis, Gaza's second-largest city. The confrontations, part of the ongoing conflict, have resulted in heavy fighting across the Strip, significantly impeding the distribution of desperately needed aid to civilians. Last Friday, the Israeli military announced the resumption of combat operations against Hamas in Gaza, citing the violation of a seven-day temporary truce by the group. The situation remains tense as both sides continue their efforts to assert dominance in the region.
