Fatigue and Resolve: Tel Aviv Residents on the Israel-Iran Strikes

On June 13, Israel launched a large-scale air strike against Iran, targeting over 200 military and nuclear facilities. Late that night, Iran swiftly responded, firing hundreds of missiles and drones at Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Haifa.

CGTN Stringer spoke with residents in Tel Aviv to gauge public sentiment. Ronny, whose son serves in the military, acknowledges Israel's right to self-defense but admits a deep weariness over the ongoing tensions.

'I trust our military, and I stand by our country's actions,' Ronny said. 'But I am tired of living under threat and uncertainty.'

His words reflect a broader mood in the city: strong support for security measures tempered by fatigue over the relentless cycle of strikes and counterstrikes.
