Colombian Youth Embraces China-Colombia Renewable Energy Cooperation

The Ituango Hydropower Plant, constructed by the Power Construction Corporation of China in Colombia, stands as the largest hydropower station currently under construction in the Americas. Upon completion, it is projected to meet 12 percent of Colombia's electricity demand, marking a significant milestone in the nation's energy infrastructure.

Helen Sáez, a Colombian worker involved in the project, highlighted the Ituango Hydropower Project as a pivotal development that heralds a new era of large-scale projects and commercial cooperation between China and Colombia.
