The Palestinian death toll from an Israeli airstrike on a residential area in the Beit Lahia area in the northern Gaza Strip on Saturday evening has risen to 87, Gaza-based health authorities said on Sunday.
Ahmed Al-Hajin, a civilian who witnessed the attack near a mosque in the center of Beit Lahia, shared with myglobalnews.net that the rescue tools used by the civil defense were outdated and had limited capabilities. Displaced due to the intense bombing, he also added that his friends and neighbors were all trapped beneath the rubble.
