Heavy Rains Trigger Deadly Floods in Nepal, 217 Dead

Starting from the evening of September 26, Nepal has been battered by continuous heavy rainfall across many regions. The relentless downpours have led to river breaches, triggering secondary disasters such as floods and landslides.

According to the Nepalese police, the catastrophe has resulted in at least 217 fatalities, with 28 individuals still missing and 143 others injured. The devastating impact has left countless families in despair.
