From Shanghai to Sanqing: Syrian Vlogger’s ‘City or Not City’ Journey

\"City or not city?\" has become a new buzzword on the Chinese internet, used to judge the enjoyment of activities or places. Originally coined by a foreigner in Shanghai, social media users now employ it during their travels across China.

China's 144-hour visa-free transit policy has attracted a steady influx of international visitors eager to experience the authentic China firsthand.

Zein Ali, a Syrian vlogger who has lived in China for nearly 14 years, recently documented his trip to Sanqing Mountain in Jiangxi Province, eastern China. While he found the scenery breathtakingly beautiful, what impressed him most was the warmth and friendliness Chinese people extended towards international travelers.
