As the world celebrates International Labor Day and China's Youth Day this month, CGTN brought together young voices from five countries – Poland, Russia, China, Armenia, and Belarus – to discuss their future career aspirations.
Among them, Belarusian student Katrina stands out with her passion for creativity. Pursuing her master’s in intercultural communication studies at Shanghai Theatre Academy, Katrina shares her vision of a perfect job that allows her to unleash her artistic talents and bring her creative ideas to life.
When asked about the impact of technology on future job prospects, Katrina expresses a thoughtful perspective on artificial intelligence. She believes that while AI can handle many tasks, it may fall short in replicating the nuanced elements essential to her creative process. “Humans possess distinct qualities, insights, and creative approaches that make us indispensable and irreplaceable,” Katrina emphasizes.
Katrina’s insights resonate with many young global citizens who seek careers that blend creativity with technology. Her belief in the irreplaceable human touch highlights a growing sentiment among youth that while technology can enhance our work, it cannot fully substitute the unique human spirit.
