Tensions Rise as Israeli Troops Approach Rafah, Refugees in Gaza Fear Uncertainty

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on the 17th that Israeli troops will enter the southern city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip. This development has ignited widespread concern within the international community. The residents of Rafah, along with Gazans who have fled to the area from other regions, are living in constant fear.

CGTN Stringer visited Rafah to speak with displaced Gazans about their current situation. Hamdi Abu Laban shared that life in the camp is extremely difficult, emphasizing the unpredictability of the future and the precariousness of people's lives.
