US, UK Air and Sea Strikes in Yemen Trigger Widespread Panic

On January 12, 2024, the United States and the United Kingdom launched coordinated air and sea strikes targeting Houthi military positions in Yemen. The unexpected attack, reported by CGTN stringer Mohammed Mutahar, has left many residents in a state of panic.

The strike has ignited fears among the population that further attacks could escalate, potentially leading to a fuel crisis and other severe repercussions. In response to these concerns, numerous residents rushed to local gas stations to secure fuel supplies, preparing to evacuate at a moment's notice.

The ongoing conflict in Yemen has already strained local resources and infrastructure, and the recent strikes by the US and UK have only intensified the uncertainty and fear among the civilian population.
