Civilians in Gaza Forced to Flee South on Foot Amid Ongoing Strikes

Thousands of civilians in Gaza are desperately fleeing from the northern regions to the south as Israeli troops continue their strikes on the coastal enclave. An ongoing interruption in fuel supplies has left many Gazans, including the elderly, children, and pregnant women, with no choice but to walk or rely on horse-drawn carriages to escape the conflict zones. These vulnerable individuals carry only limited belongings as they navigate through the perilous landscape, constantly under the threat of air strikes.

One such story is that of a local resident who was evacuated to the Gaza Valley in the central strip. He recounted walking 15 kilometers to find safety for his family. With his wife expecting a child, the journey was not only physically taxing but also fraught with uncertainty and fear.
