On September 2, 2023, the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) kicked off in Beijing under the theme \"Opening up Leads Development, Cooperation Delivers the Future.\" This year, CIFTIS showcases nine key sectors, including financial services, cultural and tourism services, education, sports, supply chain and business services, engineering consulting and construction, health and hygiene, environmental services, and telecommunications, computer, and information services.
Among the attendees was Eakvixay Tran, a Generation Z student from Laos studying in China. Eakvixay, passionate about high-tech service products and majoring in economics, explored the Telecommunications, Computer and Information Services Pavilion and the Supply Chain and Business Services Pavilion. The diverse and innovative exhibits captured his interest, making his first visit to CIFTIS both exciting and unforgettable.
During his visit to Shougang Park, Eakvixay was particularly impressed by the transformation of old factories into modern pavilions filled with high-tech service products. He remarked, \"The trip was an interesting and unforgettable experience,\" highlighting the strong contrast and synergy between the old and new generations showcased at the event.
CIFTIS has attracted exhibitors from over 80 countries and international organizations, with more than 2,400 enterprises participating. The fair serves as a dynamic platform for global cooperation and development, resonating with young global citizens like Eakvixay who seek fresh perspectives and innovative solutions.
