Church services have taken place across the UK to honor the life of Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, following his peaceful passing at the age of 99.
A notable service was held at Canterbury Cathedral, the spiritual heart of the global Anglican community, led by Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury.
Archbishop Welby praised the Duke for his remarkable dedication as the longest-serving consort in British history, highlighting his 69-year tenure alongside Queen Elizabeth II.
Preparations are underway for Prince Philip's funeral, scheduled to be held at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on Saturday.
Following the funeral, a national period of mourning will continue in the UK until April 17.
In his address, Archbishop Welby urged the public to keep Queen Elizabeth II and her family in their prayers, expressing deep sorrow over the loss.
