Sanya Kicks Off New Fishing Season with Vibrant Festival

The vibrant city of Sanya in South China recently celebrated the commencement of its new fishing season with a lively festival, marking the end of a three and a half month fishing close season in the South China Sea. On the morning of August 16, local fishermen and residents gathered to honor the start of what promises to be a bountiful period for the fishing community.

The festivities reached their peak at noon in the Yazhou central fishing port, where more than 300 fishing boats synchronized their engines and horns, creating a harmonious symphony as they set sail. Leading the fleet was the renowned \\"Head Boat in the South China Sea\\", Qiongdanyu No 19290, inspiring hope among the fishermen for abundant catches throughout the season.
