California Lockdown Sparks Panic Buying Frenzy in Burbank

Schools have been closed, almost every business has shut down, and nearly everyone has hunkered down inside their homes. This is the reality in Burbank, Los Angeles, since California Governor Gavin Newsom restricted public movement due to COVID-19.

In response to this crisis, Californians have turned to panic-buying, focusing on items like guns and ammunition. Additionally, essentials such as water and toilet paper are becoming increasingly scarce. A CGTN contributor visited Magnolia Boulevard, one of Burbank's main roads, to observe the strict lockdown measures in place.
