Family Embarks on 9,000 km Book-Fueled Journey Across China

Wo Niu, a former computer programmer, made a bold decision to leave her corporate career behind and pursue a passion for books and education. Along with her family, she set out on an extraordinary road trip across the Chinese mainland, transforming their car into a mobile library filled with a diverse collection of books.

Starting from the bustling city of Shanghai, the family traversed 11 provinces, covering over 9,000 kilometers in just 58 days. Their mission was twofold: to recommend and sell worthwhile books to locals and to donate substantial book collections to remote villages. This initiative aimed to ignite a love for reading among students and provide them with resources to fuel their education.

Throughout their journey, Wo Niu and her family engaged with numerous communities, sharing stories and fostering a sense of curiosity and learning. By bringing books directly to areas with limited access to educational materials, they inspired countless students to pursue their academic goals with renewed enthusiasm.

The impact of their journey extends beyond the miles traveled. It highlights the power of books to bridge gaps between communities and the importance of accessible education in empowering the next generation.
