Dr. Moatasem Saeed Salah, director of the Health Emergency Operations Center at the Gaza Ministry of Health, highlighted the dire situation: \\"All the hospitals have been attacked. Virtually every medical facility has shut down. The entire emergency response system is paralyzed.\\" Adding to the crisis, Dr. Salah reported that medical staff are under threat, stating, \\"They've also been viciously attacked. In all, 492 medical personnel have been killed in the attacks.\\"
