Tenzin Jigme, the founder of Wootsang Dance Crew, Xizang's pioneering street dance group, explains, \"We convey ethnic Tibetan elements in a novel way through street dance.\" By integrating traditional motifs with contemporary dance forms, Tenzin and his crew are redefining cultural expression for a new generation.

Brewing Dreams

At thirty-two, Tsomo has made history as Xizang's first international coffee grader. Her passion goes beyond quality assessment; she dreams of a future where Xizang’s coffee beans are celebrated globally. \"One of my greatest wishes is to be able to drink coffee produced in Xizang,\" Tsomo shares, highlighting her commitment to putting Xizang on the international coffee map.

Skating into the Future

Tebar has been at the forefront of promoting skateboarding in Lhasa for the past decade. His efforts have not only popularized the sport but also provided a creative outlet for the youth, fostering community and self-expression in the heart of the city.
