Youssef Al-Hindi, 30, has been serving as an ambulance driver in the Gaza Strip for nearly a decade. Since the outbreak of the Palestine-Israel conflict, he has been working non-stop to support his community.
The hospitals in northern Gaza operate around the clock, overwhelmed by the influx of casualties. Youssef transports victims during the night and dedicates his daytime hours to assisting in the removal of bodies from under the rubble.
The majority of the victims he encounters are women and children, adding a profound emotional burden to his daily responsibilities. Despite the relentless challenges, Youssef remains committed to his vital role, embodying resilience in the face of ongoing turmoil.
