Tojibaev Komiljon, a botanist from Uzbekistan, has cultivated a lifelong passion for plant research inspired by his father’s early mentorship. After completing studies at Uzbekistan’s Academy of Sciences, he passed the torch to his daughter, who is now pursuing a master’s degree at China’s Kunming Institute of Botany. “Plants connect us to both our heritage and the future,” Komiljon shared, emphasizing the family’s cross-border academic journey.
