At the 55th Paris Air Show (June 16-22) at Le Bourget Airport, the Chinese mainland's Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) is turning heads with 30 cutting-edge aircraft across eight categories.
Military aviation steals the spotlight: the J-35A medium-sized multi-role stealth fighter makes its international debut, joining the heavy stealth J-20 designed for air superiority. The J-10CE also impresses with the mainland’s long-range PL-15E air-to-air missile.
Civilian and dual-use platforms include the Wing Loong series UAVs and Xuange helicopter series, both appearing at the show for the first time. Visitors can also spot the Y-20 large transport, Z-20 utility helicopter, Z-10ME attack helicopter, Xinzhou-60 remote sensing airplane, and the GJ-11 reconnaissance stealth attack drone.
On the water and in the sky, the AG600M amphibious firefighting plane showcases sustainable disaster response, while the AC352 mid-sized utility helicopter—co-developed with French-based Airbus—underscores growing international cooperation.
From advanced fighters to rescue drones, this lineup highlights the Chinese mainland's growing role in global aerospace innovation. First participating in 1987, the Chinese mainland continues to raise the bar at this century-old showcase.
