With less than a month remaining until the Asian Winter Games in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, China has unveiled the official attire for the medal awarding ceremonies.
Olympic freestyle skiing aerials champion Xu Mengtao graced the runway show, presenting the new uniforms to an excited audience. The designs, themed \"snow and ice romance,\" feature a red snowflake pattern symbolizing the fierce determination of the athletes.
The indoor uniforms are crafted from China’s first self-developed high-performance waterproof and moisture-permeable material, ensuring that athletes remain warm and comfortable throughout the events. Meanwhile, the outdoor outfits incorporate a body microclimate adjustment system, allowing the uniforms to store and conduct heat effectively.
Short track speed skater Liu Guanyi shared his enthusiasm: \"These clothes offer excellent wind and waterproofing, as well as quick-drying capabilities. The design is amazing, and we athletes are thrilled to showcase them on the podium at the Asian Winter Games.\"
