Vibrant Grand Parade Celebrates 2024 Dong New Year in Guizhou

The 2024 Dong New Year, the most significant and lively festival of the Dong ethnic group, took place from November 29 to December 3 in Liping County, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, located in the southwest of the Chinese mainland's Guizhou Province. This vibrant celebration showcased the rich cultural heritage of the Dong people through music, dance, and traditional attire.

A highlight of the festivities was the grand parade, which drew thousands of participants from various provincial regions including Guizhou, Hunan, Guangxi, Hubei, and cities like Foshan.
