Global Call for Children’s Art: Share ‘China Through My Eyes’ by Sep 29

Are you a young artist eager to showcase your perspective of China? Here's your chance!

China Global Television Network (CGTN) and China Media Group are inviting children from around the world to participate in the \"China Through My Eyes\" art competition.

How to Participate

Theme: Depict your view of China, whether it’s its rich culture, stunning landscapes, historical landmarks, or any aspect that inspires you.

Eligibility: Open to children aged 4-14 from any country or region.

Medium: Use drawing, painting, collage, or any other traditional medium. Please ensure your artwork is entirely original and not assisted by AI tools.

Size: Ideally no larger than A3 size (297 x 420 mm or 11.7 x 16.5 inches). Creative exceptions are allowed.

Submission Format: Submit a digital image of your artwork in JPEG or PNG format with at least 300 dpi resolution. Name your file as follows: Name-Age-Country/Region-Title.JPEG/PNG.

Deadline: All entries must be received by September 29, 2024.

Rewards and Recognition

Each shortlisted entry will receive a $10 electronic recharge card. Additionally, submissions with an authorized introductory video will earn an extra $10 recharge card.

The best artworks will be showcased in an online gallery and may feature in future physical exhibitions. Prizes include a grand prize of a $100 recharge card, five first prizes of $50 each, ten second prizes of $30 each, and twenty third prizes of $20 each. Winners will be announced by the end of October 2024.

Selected artworks might also be transformed into lanterns for display at the Zigong International Lantern Festival in Sichuan Province, a renowned intangible cultural heritage event.

Email your digital artwork, completed submission form, and signed authorization agreement to chinaplus@cgtn.com with the subject line \"China Through My Eyes Art Submission.\" Optional introduction videos should also be attached.

Keep copies of your original artwork and submitted documents for potential use in exhibitions.
