On the momentous occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Brazil, the Mare do Amanha Orchestra from Brazil delivered a captivating performance at Beijing's National Library Concert Hall, collaborating with talented Chinese musicians.
Since 2011, the orchestra, generously sponsored by China's State Grid, has experienced rapid growth. It has provided over 7,000 children from Brazil’s impoverished favelas with a safe haven from violence and drugs through the transformative power of music.
In an exclusive interview, Brazilian Ambassador Marcos GalvĂŁo emphasized the importance of deepening mutual understanding between the peoples of China and Brazil. He expressed his belief that the orchestra's efforts will foster hope and inspiration among young Brazilians, encouraging them to pursue their dreams and contribute positively to their communities.
