In a stunning display of cultural pride, Beijing recently played host to a grand symphony concert celebrating the 103rd founding anniversary of the Communist Party of China (CPC). Held at the Museum of the Communist Party of China in Beijing on the eve of the milestone anniversary, the event drew a diverse crowd of approximately 800 attendees.
The audience included laureates of major national honorary medals and titles, representatives of outstanding CPC members at the grassroots level, experts from various fields, and enthusiastic members of the public. This vibrant mix highlighted the widespread support and engagement surrounding the CPC's century-long journey.
The concert featured more than 20 musical works that vividly reflected the CPC's endeavors across different stages over the past century. Prestigious ensembles such as the China National Symphony Orchestra, the China National Opera House, and the National Ballet of China came together to deliver performances that resonated deeply with the audience.
Co-hosted by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the China Media Group (CMG), the event showcased the collaborative spirit and artistic excellence that the CPC promotes. The concert was broadcast live on CMG channels, allowing a broader audience to partake in the celebrations.
The Museum of the Communist Party of China, inaugurated in 2021, has quickly become a cultural hub, attracting over 3.5 million visitors to date. Notably, 550,000 of these visits were made by young people, underscoring the museum's appeal to a new generation eager to explore and understand the CPC's legacy.
