The 30th Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF) wrapped up on Sunday, showcasing a remarkable array of 220,000 Chinese and international titles. With participation from 1,600 exhibitors representing 71 countries and regions, the event served as a vibrant platform for literary exchange and cultural dialogue.
Over the five-day event, attendees enjoyed more than 1,000 cultural activities, including book launches, author talks, and panel discussions. The fair also facilitated over 2,100 copyright trade agreements or statements of intent, highlighting the growing interconnectedness of the global publishing industry.
BIBF, recognized as the world's second-largest book fair, aims to amplify Chinese culture on the international stage while fostering mutual learning among diverse civilizations. Chinese publishing houses presented key works that reflect the nation's development, achievements, and rich cultural heritage, offering global audiences a multi-dimensional and vibrant image of China.
