CASS Unveils 22 New Publications Advancing Modern Chinese Civilization

The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) has unveiled a significant collection of research dedicated to the study and interpretation of modern Chinese civilization.

During a press conference held in Beijing on Monday, CASS introduced a total of 12 books and 10 academic papers. The research spans various disciplines, including history, philosophy, archaeology, aesthetics, and languages. These works delve into foundational issues essential to building modern civilization in the Chinese nation while providing in-depth insights and interpretations across specific fields.

Zhen Zhanmin, vice president of CASS, highlighted the importance of these publications in advancing the understanding of key aspects of modern Chinese civilization. He emphasized that the research demonstrates the invaluable contributions of social science researchers in shaping the nation's cultural and intellectual landscape.
