China, Japan, South Korea Announce 2025-2026 Cultural Exchange Year

China, Japan, and South Korea have jointly declared the years 2025 and 2026 as the China-Japan-South Korea Cultural Exchange Year. This initiative aims to strengthen cultural ties, promote mutual understanding, and foster collaboration across various cultural sectors.

The agreement was reached during the ninth Trilateral Summit Meeting, where leaders from the three nations emphasized the importance of cultural diplomacy in enhancing regional cooperation and peace. The Cultural Exchange Year will feature a series of events, including art exhibitions, music festivals, educational programs, and collaborative projects that highlight the rich cultural heritage of each country.

By designating these two years for cultural exchange, China, Japan, and South Korea hope to create a platform for young global citizens to engage, share ideas, and build lasting relationships across their borders.
