A group of young Russian martial arts practitioners recently visited the heartland of kung fu and tai chi in Henan Province for a cultural exchange and study tour. From May 10 to 12, the enthusiasts immersed themselves in the rich traditions of Chinese martial arts by exploring iconic sites such as the Shaolin Temple, the Henan Museum, and Chenjiagou Village—the birthplace of tai chi.
This visit coincides with the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Russia, highlighting the deepening ties between the two nations. As exchanges between China and Russia continue to grow, Chinese martial arts are experiencing a surge in popularity across Russia, inspiring a new generation of practitioners and fostering cross-cultural understanding.
