Lu Siqing Launches “The New Four Seasons” European Tour

On December 19, 2025, world-renowned violinist Lu Siqing announced in Beijing that he will embark on a six-country European tour with the MAJOR Ensemble from February 1 to 11, 2026.

Titled "The New Four Seasons," the tour will feature the European premiere of "The Four Seasons of China," a new composition commissioned from Chinese composer Wen Ziyang. Audiences will also hear Hungarian composer Stefan Peter's piano "Sonata of the Four Seasons," performed by pianist Kovács Gergely.

The concert series will visit Budapest, Sofia, Turin, Salzburg, Munich, and Barcelona, offering a fresh cross-cultural musical conversation that bridges Eastern and Western traditions through the timeless theme of the seasons.
