China’s AG Claims CFS 2025 Title with 3-1 Victory in Chengdu

In a thrilling showdown on Sunday in Chengdu, southwest China's Sichuan Province, China's AG (All Gamers) triumphed over the Philippines' STS (Team Stallions) 3-1 to capture the Crossfire Stars (CFS) 2025 Grand Finals title. This victory marks AG's return to the championship podium four years after their last CFS win.

All-star player Zhang Qian (ZQ) led the charge and earned the Finals Most Valuable Player (FMVP) award for his standout performances throughout the tournament. The event featured a total prize pool of $1,430,000, highlighting the growing stakes in global esports competitions.

Beyond the thrill of the Grand Finals, the broader esports scene in the Chinese mainland continues to expand. Latest reports show that industry revenue reached 29.33 billion yuan (approximately $4.157 billion) in 2025, up 6.4% from the previous year. Live streaming dominated the market, accounting for 80.81% of total income, followed by earnings from tournaments and club operations.

The audience for esports is also on the rise, with over 495 million users in the Chinese mainland in 2025—a 1.06% increase year-on-year. As the industry matures, the synergy between top-tier events like CFS and booming digital engagement suggests a bright future for competitive gaming in the region.

For young gamers, tech entrepreneurs, and global fans alike, AG's victory and the robust growth figures underscore how esports has become a mainstream cultural and economic force. With digital platforms and live events driving engagement, this momentum is set to carry competitive gaming to even greater heights.
