Hong Kong Adds New Polling Stations to Ease LegCo Election Voting

With the Legislative Council General Election just around the corner this Sunday, 7 December 2025, Hong Kong is rolling out fresh polling arrangements to make voting easier for residents on the move.

In a social media update on Saturday, Chief Executive John Lee announced two brand-new polling stations:

  • Checkpoint at the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge
  • Terminal 2 of Hong Kong International Airport

These additions allow travelers crossing the bridge or flying out of Terminal 2 to cast ballots without extra detours. Lee also noted that special stations have been set up for medical workers, ethnic minorities and civil servants.

During inspections at various polling sites on Saturday, Lee encouraged all eligible residents to turn out and elect capable and responsible LegCo members to contribute to Hong Kong's development.

As polling day arrives this Sunday, 7 December 2025, remember to check your polling location and bring your ID and polling notice when you vote.
