Jiangmen city in Guangdong province came alive as it wrapped up the 2025 Guangdong Provincial Barista Vocational Skills Competition on 30 November. At the same time, international delegates from Sri Lanka, the Islamic Republic of Iran and Fiji, alongside global journalists, participated in cross-cultural exchanges. They sampled Jiangmen’s specialty brews and met the young baristas fueling the city’s burgeoning coffee scene—all ahead of the 2025 Understanding China Conference in Guangzhou.
