Lin Xiaojun Claims Silver in 500m at Gdansk Short Track World Tour

In Gdansk, Poland, on Saturday, November 22, China’s Lin Xiaojun raced to silver in the men’s 500 meters at the ISU Short Track World Tour stop, posting a time of 41.120 seconds.

Final A featured five skaters, with Lin in lane three. Canada’s William Dandjinou in lane one and Italy’s Thomas Nadalini in lane two quickly surged to the front, claiming the top two positions early on.

With three laps remaining, Lin executed a decisive pass on Nadalini to move into second place, holding off challenges to secure the silver medal. Dandjinou powered home in 40.849 seconds to take gold, while his compatriot Steven Dubois earned bronze.

Lin’s blend of raw speed and tactical acumen underlines his status as a top contender in the 500m. His performance in Gdansk adds momentum as the World Tour season continues.
