BEIJING – CGTN unveiled the "Learn Chinese with Ease" ecosystem at the 2025 World Chinese Language Conference in Beijing on Saturday, November 15.
Developed with Beijing Language and Culture University Press, the initiative offers a modular curriculum based on HSK standards. It features scenario-based videos, grammar micro-lectures, and interactive app demos, all designed for immersive, digital-first learning.
This year, Chinese language education continues its global expansion. Chinese has been incorporated into national education systems in 86 countries, with more than 200 million learners worldwide.
The "Chinese Bridge" competitions have drawn 1.8 million participants from over 160 countries. Meanwhile, the HSK – China's official proficiency test – now spans 1,477 centers in 168 countries and has been taken by more than 8.5 million examinees. Nearly 60 percent of new test takers are aged 19 to 45.
By combining data-driven insights with engaging multimedia, "Learn Chinese with Ease" aims to empower young global citizens, entrepreneurs, and travelers to connect through language and culture. The platform is currently available online and via mobile app, marking a new step in digital language education.
