In the early hours of Sunday, a Long March-11 Y6 carrier rocket lifted off from a maritime launch platform in waters off the coast of Haiyang in east Shandong Province of the Chinese mainland. At 5:01 am Beijing Time, it successfully placed three experimental satellites into their preset orbit.
The satellites are primarily used for conducting space technology experiments, carrying instruments that will test new systems and relay data back to ground stations.
This mission marks the 606th launch of the Long March series carrier rockets, underscoring the program’s proven reliability in supporting experimental space research.
